Brief Description:  Removed carburetor

One thing we discovered last night was that the starter button on the pilot's stick grip did not work. I had to attempt starting with the right side grip. First thing today I tracked down the problem to an unseated pin in the Dsub coming out of the stick grip bundle. Once inserted until it clicked, the relay works perfectly. I spoke with Russ Romey of D&G Supply this morning and he said my problem was almost certainly due to the internal carb parts gumming up or drying out. I'm shipping it back to Niles, Michigan tomorrow for him to spend an hour cleaning and setting it up again. I guess that's what happens when it takes 5 years to install and run a carburetor! Having the problem is a mixed blessing because it caused me to discover that a plate I fabricated to clamp to the top of the carb was restricting complete range of motion movement for the throttle. Until I notched out the plate tonight, an extension arm on the throttle was hitting the plate before reaching the actual throttle stop, leaving the throttle partly cracked. I notched out the plate, seen from above in the 2nd and 3rd pictures, and now it can move freely..
