In a visit to the hangar which I failed to document, I tested the wing spar/center spar fit and they were both very good. I hand reamed the holes when they were aligned using tapered, bullet-nose bolts and everything went well except the three top holes on the left wing spar. These were not perfectly aligned and while hand reaming them I inadvertently enlarged them and made them slightly oblong. When I called Zenith about going up to the next size bolt, I was told that I would need to measure my margins to be sure I wouldn't be violating any minimums. Today I finally got out to make those measurements -- and to clean off the airplane now that I've moved it to a new hangar space. More later.
