Brief Description:  Update on conversation with factory

I spoke with Roger at Zenith this morning and we concluded that the only way to fix my problem is to remove and repair the center spar. Ugh. For those builders with modificaiton plans, it appears that I compressed the "sandwich" of parts too much before drilling through the top doubler (6-ZU-2-1) and the front seat angle (6-ZU-2-2). That squeezed the top of my center spar when the solid rivets were put in place. As for the bottom of the spar, I suspect I also pulled the front bottom angle (6-ZU-2-7) and the rear bottom angle (6-ZU-2-8) too close together when drilling into the floor. I won't really know any of this for sure until I remove the spar and inspect my work. Because of my work and travel schedule, the best I can hope for over the next week is to remove and inspect the spar. Any reconstruction won't begin until the 26th at the earliest.
