Brief Description: Rewired roll trim servo and fixed pitch trim LED
The splices that I made to my roll trim servo wires just a few days ago (12/2/2012) had me concerned. I opted to remove them and order a new 4 foot piece of the 5-conductor wrie from Zenith. Tonight I connected the five wires using female crimp connector pins to reestablish the connection inside the airleron. With that length of wire I can do a solder joint job to mate the new wire with the old wire going through the wing out to the tip. I've decided not to reattach the aileron until I have polished it this weekend. Another problem I resolved tonight had to do with the LED indicator for the pitch trim. Since connecting it to the IOEX, it showed the wrong location. I called Ray Allen Company today and he suggested that I removed the connection to the IOEX to see if that corrected the issue, which it did. Until or unless I can figure a solution, I guess I won't be showing pitch trim on the Voyager (no real problem), just on the LED.
