Brief Description:  Started wiring stick grip connectors

A fair amount of time went into routing decisions. I also determined that I wanted to provide a connector for ease of maintenance and later additions or changes to the stick grip button assignments. After spending around two hours trying to directly solder the bundled wires to the D sub connectors, I realized the result was not satisfactory. I took it apart and instead soldered in 6 inch pieces of 20 AWG wire that I put heat shrink and stress relief on before closing the shell. The last step (to be continued) is doing staggered inline soldered splices that are heat shrink wrapped. The black heat shrink you see in the second picture is over a butt connector. I misaligned my wire stripper and cut instead of stripping one piece. Too short for the conventional method, so I had to resort to the butt connector. Works great -- just bigger than necessary. Other than that, all is going well, just time consuming. After doing this one, I get to do the same thing on the co-pilot side. Something to look forward to.
