Brief Description:  2 - Routed elevator trim cable

My first job was to open the access panel on my elevator trim to pull the wires back into the elevator and secure them better. Several years of the weight of the coiled wire hanging from the elevator had worked the wire out through the grommet. I used 3/16" light duty clamps for most of my heavy routing. You'll notice an oversized aluminum washer on top of each clamp. This was just insurance that the rivet head won't work its way through, since it is somewhat smaller than the hole. I elected to route my wire above the H.T. frame and pop out through a grommet in the rear bulkhead. Next I crossed to the left side of the aircraft and routed it from there forward. Fortunately, when routing was complete, I had about 12 inches of cable to spare. I'll take it.
