Brief Description: Installed Voyager, vents and DC outlets
Peter McGowan's grandfather is an aviation guy from way back...and a homebuilder. When he visited some time ago, he offered for me to use some aviation punch sets that he had. These use a 3/4" hole through your material, then a punch and die that sandwich the metal with a 3/4" bolt through them all. Tighten it with a wrench and voila, you have perfect hole. I was able to us these on both the vent and DC outlet holes today. Thanks, guys! As you can see, I also cut my opening for the MGL Voyager EFIS. It's lookin' good, and more like an airplane by the day.
