I drilled out the hole for the carb heat control passthrough and installed it. Next I made a reinforcement L angle with a 35mm flange to back up the engine controls and switches that will go along the bottom. Then I made a 4.5" wide tray to span the area between the panel and the firewall. This is for strength and may serve to mount some electronic equipment.
