Because of the mounting orientation of the MA3-SPA carb, the throttle cable must either go past the carb and come back, making a big loop, or it must be reversed. I chose the latter approach and utilized a part designed and fabricated by Brady McCormick of Magnificent Machines. It is well thought out and constructed. Most of my time was spent experimenting with different rod lengths and mounting hole positions to get the best geometry for a smooth application of force in both directions. In my case it did require repositioning of the arm on the carb to be more horizontal at full throttle. Now I need to order my throttle cable and install it. BTW, tonight I passed 2100 hours in the shop.
