Brief Description:  Installed camloc fasteners on lower cowling

Building an airplane is about constantly learning about new techniques, tools and hardware. Today I got hands-on experience with camloc fasteners. These are quarter-turn fasteners that allow quick access. A receptacle is solid riveted on the back side of the lower cowling doubler, and the turning fastener is lock washered to the upper cowling. It is a multi-step process, but not all that hard. Aircraft Spruce only had 6 in stock, so I still have 2 to go when they arrive.
