Today I positioned and drilled holes for the nutplates, then countsunk the top holes to keep the solid rivets flush. Next I dimpled the holes in the frame opening. Finally I riveted 16 of the 46 nutplates. A good friend of A.J. and Tom had a flight delay from John Wayne, so he spent the afternoon with us. After thoroughly inspecting the project, he left his mark under the right aileron wing tip. Funny guy!
