My helper tonight was Bob McCutchen, my brother-in-law from Arizona. Bob is a recently retired Colonel in the USAF with over 5,500 hours, most of them in F-16s. Because he also has a degree from Auburn in Aeronautical Engineering, I thought he was marginally qualified to help me do some homebuilding tonight! Thanks, Bob. The task of the evening was drilling and countersinking for A4 rivets around the panel frame. We installed them and then put the part in place for a test fit. Like a glove. Now I'm waiting on countersunk nutplates from Aircraft Spruce in Georgia.
