After a long, long break from the project, mainly due to work initiatives followed by a 3.5 week battle with bronchitis, I got back into the shop today. The changes made to the center spar, especially as it relates to the fuel lines running to the back of the fuel selector, caused me to need to remake the center console cover. Not a hard job at all, but I'm thinking I won't put screws through the side (into nutplates) as I did before. I'll remove the nutplates and find a simple way to connect the two parts of the center console (flat and angled). The rear is hinged so that provides stability there.
