Brief Description: Center spar soid riveted - mods complete
Solid riveting around the bolts and nuts holding my spar halves together was not easy, but I succeeded. I went to Aircraft Spruce this morning to select just the right bucking bar. At the end of the day, I never used it. What worked was for me to use a curved, flat-surface riveting die, clamped to my old bucking bar for mass. It was quite the Rube Goldberg device, but it worked. Time to modify spar: 30.5 hours.Total time for all modification, to date: 189.25.
