Brief Description: Moved alternator forward and mounted vertical baff
After shooting an email to the Corvaircraft email list, I confirmed that the alternator bracket needed to be in front of the "dog bone" when one has installed a 5th bearing. Otherwise, the alternator and prop hub pulleys are out of alignment. Because of tight quarters, this took more time that you would think. I then primed and mounted the vertical baffle supports, coating the top cover bolts with Permatex Ultra Grey. The bolts were then torqued to 10 foot/pounds. I also replaced the oil pressure sender, sealing the threads with Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant. Finally, I did an inventory of my hose fittings in preparation for installing the oil cooler.
