Brief Description: Installed exhaust system and worked on baffles
After Corvair College 18, William Wynne stayed with Steve Glover of www.NVAero.com. Steve brought William to my house and offered to help with the fabrication of the stand-offs needed to mount my alternator, starter and front baffles. This morning I measured all five stacks of washers that will soon be machined aluminum because of his generous offer to assist. The most visible change to my engine came when I installed the exhaust system. My last job was to install the two vertical supports for the rear baffle that attach to the top cover. Because of my special configuration that uses a long nipple and brass T that comes through the baffle, I needed to enlarge the lightening hole in the support to accomodate my oil pressure sensor. All that remains of that job is to prime and rivet the parts.
