Nothing too difficult here. Just placement, drilling and clecoing of the airleron hole doubler. spar cap doubler and rear spar doubler. Because my rear spar was spliced (per approved plans by Chris Heintz), this aileron hole doubler represents a third layer of metal in that area. I have little doubt that this area does not suffer from weakness due to the hole for the control rod. Once again, it is encouraging to see how much extra rigidity is achieved with just a few pieces of aluminum, properly placed. Anything in the pictures below that is shiny (not primed) is a new part.
