I emailed vans a bunch of pictures of the spar center section lay out today to see if it was right and it is Wahoo hears what they said " your center section looks like it is set up correctly. Would not make a gap between the spars...if anything relieve one flat on the nut or bolt head to get clearance. On the gap at the bottom, might be best to fabricate some shims for this area. Vans" I asked them if it would be ok to have a space between the spars to help with a clearance problem with two nuts and bolts on the spar.
