Won't bother posting pictures of this one. But it ended up being a waste of time/learning experience.
Long story short, I drilled a couple holes on the wrong side of a line and ruined what was supposed to be part T12-03. Well maybe not ruined, but I haven't called Sonex to see if its salvagable, and have decided not to. I want this plane to be built according to the plan.
I spent quite some time searching the plans to see if I could use the Z03-02 on another shorter part. Unfortunately, this was the shortest part I had left to make that used Z03-03. Lessen learned, start with the longest parts.
I've also noticed that I'm taking a long time figuring out how much material I need to allow for the bends I'm making. I've been making the bends with more than enough material length, then triming the excess. This takes time, and isn't accurate. So I intend to do some more research, and automate the process.
