The elevator skins were my first chance to cut metal since the sonex workshop. I also had to make sure I fully understood how to visualize the orthographic projections in the plans.
I didn't make a mistake, but almost did. But even if I had, the fact that the elevator skins are mirror images of each other would have saved me from the one I almost made.
Cutting through the bends caused me some grief, but I saw that someone had used a dremel on the bends, so I did the same.
After finishing these skins I bought some left and right offset snips. They would have really helped with this.
