Either the vertical channels, or the cross ties in the kit were made incorrectly. I’m not sure what is wrong, other than the cross ties came up 1/8” short of the upper longerons. Today I made and added spacers that Sonex tech support said I should use to compensate for this defect. While I would have rather they had sent me replacements a few months ago, I’m hopeful that this modification will work well.
I also added the shoulder belt fixture, dimpled and updrilled the floor, and drilled the bolt holes in the longeron.
This pretty much completes F21. I’ll be the next step will probably be the turtledeck.
