It appeared the firewall (bulkhead A) was causing a bit of an issue when fitting the forward skin section. I checked its form factor against the part drawing and decided life would be easier if I made a form and did a bit of shaping in an attempt to get an exact part. Bottom line - the new part made many of the fitment issues go away.
