Brief Description: Continued assembly of cabane gear
Having drilled the missing holes in the spring leg, I made pretty good progress removing more powder coat, cutting a 4 degree alignment "fixture" and mounting the pieces. That is, until I discovered the lower tubes were too long. Opps. (I’m sure they missed two operations when someone inadvertently sent them to powder coat prematurely.) An email and phone call to the company retrieved the correct lengths (great support from the factory) so the next assembly day will consist of making sure the parts meet print and, just maybe, final assembly. (Well, final for the moment as all of the gear had to be disassembled in order to do the fabric covering trick.)
