Brief Description:  Completed covering rudder

Completed installation of the finishing tape(s) on the rudder.

Rearranged the shop and prepped the first wing panel for covering. Lots of little details to address - sanding the ribs and false ribs in the areas to be glued, removing a few varnish runs, cleaning the spars and trailing edge where the fabric will be glued, etc. Note: the way the trailing edge was fabricated left a fairly sharp edge (forward plane) that would contact the material after shrinking. I may have been overly concerned about the chances it would rub through the covering with age but I chose to file it down until the gap between it and a straight line between the rib and the top surface of the trailing edge was greater than a 1/16th of an inch. I'll also wrap the wing's bottom material around the trailing edge and over that sharp edge.
