Brief Description:  Continued transmitter/antenna installation activit

Received a great hint (read: I was suffering from target fixation) from Eddie on the Kitfox forum that I had mounted the ELT in a great spot - EXCEPT - I forgot that I had removed the header tank for safe storage and once it is reinstalled, hooking up the connector and antenna to the ELT will be impossible. So, back to the drawing board.

I made another wooden plug for mounting the ELT in the plate the factory welds in behind the pilot's seat - almost a mirror image from the opposite side but different enough that a new plug is in order.

Then the rest of the day was spent determining where to mount the ADSB antenna/ground plane. Not as easy as it looks as I wanted to try and honor the guideline to keep antennas at least 1 meter from each other. Ended up mounting it (or, at least rough fitting all of the pieces) under the floor of the baggage compartment - port side, rear. The biggest (self-induced challenge) was getting it positioned level on the roll axis and at a pitch angle that will be level in flight.

To ensure the antenna won't be sticking its bald ball head through the fabric, I installed the bottom stringer.
