Decided to deviate from the manual when assemblying and installing the rudder ribs a bit - the rib build process for this plane is:
Trim to length and dry fit the rudder ribs. Cut to length and clamp the straightening strip in position on the rid while on the work bench.
Tomorrow I'll install the ribs using extension strips mounted on the VS ribs to ensure all are on the same plane and in alignment.
Also, installed the floor boards.
Also, when re-installing the rudder pedal assemblies I inadvertently mixed the internal bearings between the two end mounts and discovered that they can become too tight and cause the bearing to rotate on the mounting bolt. So, off to Aircraft Spruce to order drilled bolts and I'll replace the factory supplied bolts and nylock nuts.
