Brief Description: Floorboard install and begin console
Worked a while on getting the floorboards installed. Thought I'd share what I learned just in case someone else follows this build log.
Hint: After determining and loosely installing all of the floor boards in order to get an idea of where you want what, begin the final fit by installing the rear boards and removing any weld beads in the way of a flat install. Then open up any factory cut notches to improve the fit. Now is a good time to bend tabs into a better position - eliminate twist and interference but don't bend them up past the point at which they are parallel with the floor board. If any gap remains, install a wood shim.
Then drill and install with clecos. Follow the same process for the center floor boards and then the forward board.
I did have to epoxy in place four shims on the rear most mounting points of the center boards and while waiting for the epoxy to cure, started work in installing the center console.
