Fabricated an enclosure around cyl #1 exhaust pipe to gain additional heat for carb heat source. Testing indicated that using only hot air from below cylinders was not sufficient to provide enough heat gain for adequate carb heat. Installed a screen in the air outlet of the exhaust pipe enclosure to give some air filtering of debris that may enter the air stream.
