Trimmed cured foam from the cowling. Shaped it with a Sure Form file. The shape and smoothness was not acceptable. I applied dry wall patching material to the surface and built it up to approximate the finished shape I want. I worked it down with a Sure Form file. There are still some low spots that need filled with another layer or two. The dry wall patching plaster is vrey easy to work with.
