Finish fitting the filler pieces to the floor ahead and behind the landing gear box. Fabricated panels to go on the floor over the foam/fiberglass skinned filler pieces. The panels are made from 1/4" semi-rigid vinyl foam with one layer of glass cloth with polyester resin. The area under the rudder pedals where the pilot's heels will rest, about 6" wide, is covered with a layer of carbon fiber cloth and polyester resin. This is to provide a wear surface in lieu of carpet which would wear quickly. The remaining 12" of the floor panel is covered in carpet. Completed the floor panel on the left side. The right side needs the carpet installed.
