Worked on fitting the top cowling. the left side was too short to fit down over the lap seam on the top edge of the lower cowling. Cut the left side off of the top cowling about 4" above the bottom edge. Fit the top cowling on minus the left side edge. Then held the left side edge on with clecos and duct tape so it was in the proper position. Put three layers of glass cloth over the gap using polyester resin. When cured, I'll remove the top cowling and fill in the back side with epoxy and gcut glass fibers for a filler. The strengthen the joint with two or three layers of CF cloth and epoxy resin.
