Removed the remaining carpet tape adhesive from the fuselage where the plastic and 1/8" thick foam was fastened. Removed the turtleback layup from the female mold. Washed the PVA off of the layup and the mold and dried them. Began to trim the turtleback layup to fit properly on the fuselage and the CF hoop behind the canopy. Not using the 1/8" foam core in the layup made the turtleback sit too low on the CF hoop so it was lower than the rear edge of the canopy. Layed up 2" wide CF tape with epoxy resin on the CF hoop to approximately 1/8" thickness to bring up the turtleback to be about even with the canopy edge.
