Began layup of the female turtleback mold over the plastic male mold. Finished with the basic layup using polyester resin. I bonded on a 1"x2" wood strip at the lower edges of the mold. More work needed to complete a frame around the mold to help it keep it's shape while laying up the CF and foam sheet inside.
