Used lacquer thinner to remove the clear coat previously applied to the instrument panel CF overlay. Mixed clear epoxy and applied over the CF overlay surface with a sheet metal squeegee. The epoxy layer will fill small low spots and pinholes in the original CF surface. The cured epoxy layer will have to be sanded smooth and finished with clear coat.
Applied two layers of glass cloth and epoxy to the end of the glove box foam core. Overlapped the end layers an inch or so over the side. Cured in the powder coat oven. Removed the foam core and cleaned up the glove box of the duct tape adhesive residue. With the glove box open end down on a flat surface, applied glas cloth strips about two inches wide around the end and to the flat surface. This was to make a flange at the open end so the glove box can be fastened to the back of the instrument panel.
Removed the instrument panel from the fuselage to attach the hinge and fuse block sub panel.
