Cut out aluminum to extend the sun shield extending back from over the top of the instrument panel. A 0.016" thick strip 80mm wide was made to go between the top of the instrument panel and the underside of the top skin. Another aluminum strip 0.025" thick and 50mm wide will go over the 0.016" backing strip. The 0.025" and the 0.016" strip will be rivited together to provide a flush top where the extension meets the original top skin. Drilled all holes to fasten both strips together, and to the original top skin.
