Fabricated backing plates for #8 nut plates to place inside the fairing. These will be used to fasten the brake covers to the wheel fairing. Put the wheel fairing on the gear and put the brake cover on. Located position of the screws to hold the brake covers to the fairing. Drilled holes for the screws. Riveted the nut plates to the backing plates. Attached the backing plates to the wheel fairing with epoxy adhesive. When the epoxy cured, I applied a couple layers of glass tape over the backing plates and on the inside of the wheel fairing.
