Worked on wing flap control system to remove slop. Fabricated stainless steel tube to fit over the 1/4" dia rod on the actuating arm. The new tube is 5/16" in diameter. Removed the delrin plate with the slot where the rod fits from the right side flap. Milled the slot to exactly fit the 5/16 dia tube pressed over the 1/4" diua rod. Now that has no more slop. Made a bearing from 3/8" thick Delrin to support the flap torque tube to keep it from moving up and down as the flaps are moved. This should stiffen the flap control system. Need to mount the new bearing and fabricate the 5/16" dia stainless sleeve and mill out the Delrin piece on the left flap.
