Removed the fuselage step fairing, 6-G-3-5. De-burred rivet holes in the step fairing and the matching holes in the fuselage bottom. Cleaned it and applied zinc chromate to the mating surfaces of the fairing and the fuselage bottom. Securely bolted the center of the step, 6-G-3-2, cross tube to the fuselage bottom. Installed the fairing again with clecoes. Trimmed the wing fairings to fit around the steps and the step fairing. installed the fuselage fairings with clecoes. Riveted the fuselage step fairing, 6-G-3-5, to the fuselage bottom. Vacuum cleaned the inside of the fuselage in the area where the step installation work was done.
