Determined how to put a thrust washer on the top end of the distributor shaft. Cut a relief in the top end of the housing, pressed the bushing down about 0.100" further. Turned the end of the shaft down to fit the ID of the washer. Drilled the center of the shaft and expanded to rivet the washer on the top of the shaft. Lubed the parts and assembled them. Installed into engine and put the cap on top. Sealed with Yamabond 4 gasket sealer.
