Brief Description: Install wing upgrade - nose ribs
Drilled holes for extra rivets in top and bottom spar caps per drawing 6-ZU-1 & 3. Began re-installing the #1 nose rib with angle piece 6-ZU-1-4. The instructions and drawings didn't show the same as my wing with the wing root doubler installed in that there was insufficient matrerial on the rounded cutout of the doubler to fasten the angle. It is supposed to have 5 rivets between the top and bottom bolts. I only had room for 3 rivets. I determined that another angle piece could be put on the other side of the nose rib to carry the load to the doubler on the other side. Need to take a picture of it tomorrow.
