Added a reinforcing fillet of Permatex Ultra Black around the outside edge of the rubber tube projecting from the hot air outlet. Made a new shaft for the carb heat flap plate. Milled 0.050" off one side of the shaft where the flap plate will fit. Made a new flap plate that will fasten to the shaft and cover the hot air outlet for cold air inlet, or rotate up and uncover the hot air outlet and block off the cold air inlet. Trimmed the flap plate to clear attaching bolt heads and rivets. Made sure evreything fit and worked without interference. Drilled the inside end of the shaft for a cotter pin to keep the shaft and flap located. Installed the carb heat operating arm and positioned it for full travel of the flap plate.
