Brief Description:  Fuel system

Installed a fuel line vent/bypass at the inlet of the fuel pressure regulator. The bypass vents back to the temporary tank through a small (approx 2mm diameter) tube. This should allow air and vapor to exit the line at the pressure regulator and be routed back to the fuel tank. Tested the modified system and found that it did vent the air/vapor as intended. Fuel pressure was at 5 or 6 psi within about 4 seconds of turning on the fuel pump. Test ran the engine and cold starting was easier. Hot starting was accomplished almost immediately. This was a large improvement over the system with no vent at the regulator inlet. A permanent fuel line vent will be installed later.
