Brief Description:  Ignition system and instruments

Checked both ignition systems to determine which polarity the crank sensor connections should be since both sensor wires are black and not coded for polarity. With the spark plugs removed, turned teh engine over with the starter and checked for spark using each ignition. Found that the correct polarity was with the sensor white/blue wire was connected to the EDIS blue wire and the sensor white wire was connected to the grey EDIS wire. Noted this on the wiring diagram.

Turned engine with the starter until oil pressure built up. Noted that the sump oil level went down by one quart to fill the oil cooler and oil lines.

Dressed up the wiring for the two crank sensors to make the connections permanent. Labelled the wires.

Re-installed the spark plugs.

Connected the tube from the manifold pressure port on the intake manifold to the Dynon pressure sensor, MJLT 1 & 2 units, and the J&S Electronics knock control unit.
