Put the lower cowling on the fuselage. Measured and marked where the rear edge of the cowling should be to provide enough outlet area. Removed cowling and trimmed the edge. Applied reinforcing layers at the rear edge to stiffen it. Used 3 layers of 1" wide CF tape. One layer of 2" wide tape and 1 layer of 3" wide tape. Applied one layer of 2" wide glass tape to the edges that fasten to the fuselage side. used high temp epoxy resin.
