Cleaned up and bonded the bottom piece on to the cowling using epoxy resin. Drilled holes around the edges and fastened the botom piece to the cowling with clecos to hold it in place while the epoxy cures.
Filled the oil filter with oil and installed it on the oil filter adapter. Safety wired the filter.
Wrapped the first 12" to 14" of the exhaust primary pipes with header wrap to keep excess heat away from the cowling.
