Began building the air box. Checked clearance under the top cowl for the air filter. Made a bottom sheet for the air box from 0.065" 6061 T6. The edge is fastened to the three 1/4" threaded holes at the inside edge of the intake manifold. Fabricated a piece to fit to the carburetor flange. Cut a hole for the carb inlet and for the 1/4" mounting holes. Welded the two pieces together and fit them to the engine for a trial fit.
