Built rib #9 support bracket, cut tubes for drag strut, prepped tubes for Alodine

Scotch-brite, washed, cleaned ribs and drag strut for Alodine.

Alumiprep all ribs.

Alodined port wing ribs and drag strut tubes.

Removed factory Spar H-brace rivets that popped out when tube was compressed into circular position.. Reinstalled correctly.

Installed ribs temrporarily on spar.

Completed installation of spars and setup proper spacing.

Installed Rib Boot and end rib temporarily with clecoes. Temporarily installed LE and TE tubes and set ribs to properly contact.

Fabricated LE and TE splices. Assembled drag strut temporarily.
12-5-2009 0730-1300 (5.5 hours)
Due to tube shape defect, fabricated a second set of drag strut tubes, cleaned and prepped for alodine.
12-6-2009 0745-1100 (3.25 hours)
Alodined and installed drag strut.
12-18-2009 1115-1545 (4.50 hours)
Drag Strut final fitting and riveting to Root rib - Left Wing
12-19-2009 0730-1315 (5.75 hours)
Drag Strut Final Assembly to bottom plate, installed and riverted Strut support to spar.
