Brief Description:  Conducted Fuel Flow Test

Disconnected the fuel line from the bottom of the last fuel filter in the engine bay. Placed a marked fuel container under the output of the fuel filter. Powered up the electric fuel pump for two minutes and captured the fuel output. The container contained 0.9 gals. This is 27 gals per hour of fuel flow for the engine.

In general FAA required 0.55 lbs per horsepower-hour. For the Rotec 3600 this comes to 82.5 lbs per hour. With a fuel flow of 27 gals per hour that comes to 175.5 lbs per hour well in excess of the minimum required.

Leveled the aircraft by blocking up the tail until the fuselage was llevel. Repeated the fuel flow test and captured 0.95 gals in the two minutes.
