Brief Description:  Start of Painting of Side Panels and Forward Fusel

Finished installing the grommet into the instrument panel on the right side. Mounted two 22 gauge wires, one black and one red, to the cockpit lighting control box at terminals #7 and 8. Routed the wires over to and through the grommet on the instrument panel. They will connect to the LED lighting strips to provide lights for the cockpit.

Put 60 lbs of air pressure into both of the aircraft tires for full inflation.

Cleaned up the work table for space to work on the forward cover and side panels. Started with the tan paint and filled in the areas on the side panels marked for tan paint. Laid out the side panels next to the forward cover and marked the transition points where the tan paint should flow up onto the cover. Applied tan paint to the cover to match up with the side panels as needed to continue the camouflage pattern for the airplane. Removed the gas cap from the cover and set it aside. Marked off the cover with a pencil for the additional paint color areas. Finish the painting during the next work day.
