Brief Description: Painting the Black Border Around the Star
Completed the taping of the border on the second wheel cover. Applied a coat of black paint round the star within the masked area on both wheel covers. Set the covers aside to dry.
Reviewed the requirements of the cockpit for lighting and the controls of that lighting. Selected a location on the instrument panel in the upper right area for installing the light control switches. Controls will be needed for the cockpit lights, the instrument lights, and the landing lights. Decided that an additional circuit breaker was needed to support the instrument lights. Drilled and installed a 2 1/2 amp circuit breaker for use with the instruments lights.
Applied a second coat of black paint to the wheel covers and set them aside to dry until tomorrow when the masking tape will be removed.
